DAMBILE BREAKS SOUTH AFRICAN RECORD

SInesipho Dambile continued his great form this season at the Ostrava Golden Spike meeting yesterday. Running in the 150m, Dambile became the first South African ever to dip under the 15s mark, clocking 14.78 to break Akani Simbine’s national record time of 15.04s.

Dambile has shown great form this whole season, already taking 3 podiums places in three Diamond Leagues - making a statement in his debut Diamond League season.
